Throughout his career, Martin has held key leadership roles at prominent hotel brands, including Sheraton, Marriott, Hilton, as well as several boutique properties. His background spans a diverse range of hotel environments, from luxury and full-service hotels to independent and convention-focused properties.
Most recently, Martin served as Area General Manager for Davidson Hospitality, where he successfully led multiple full-service hotels and convention spaces, including the Memphis Sheraton Downtown, Renasant Convention Center, and properties in Peoria and Columbus. During his tenure, he managed high-profile property transformations, reopened long-closed hotels, and delivered impressive results in complex operational environments.
Prior to his role with Davidson Hospitality, Martin was Managing Partner at SERVE Hospitality Advisors, where he provided consulting and task force leadership for boutique and branded hotels. He also held leadership roles as General Manager & Vice President of Operations at The Summit Hotel, where he played a pivotal role in transitioning the property from a Dolce-branded hotel to an independent entity, earning prestigious awards such as the AAA Four Diamond and Condé Nast Readers' Choice accolades.
Martin holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Xavier University, reflecting his dedication to strategic growth and operational excellence.
