Huntington's Grille receives second national award for wine program
Wine Enthusiast “Award of Distinction”
Jackson, Mississippi, December 2005: Huntington's Grille has received national recognition for the second time this year regarding the quality of their wine program. Early December, Huntington's was notified by Wine Enthusiast Magazine they had received the prestigious “Award of Distinction” for their outstanding wine program.
The selection process is by application only. Supportive documentation must be provided on the quality and variety of wines, innovative menu selections and creative graphic menu presentation. In addition, the details of the overall wine program, including staff training, are required. Wine lists must provide vintages and appellations for all selections - - including wines by-the-glass. The Award of Distinction recognizes a commitment to a fine wine list, with a sufficient selection of better producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.
Manager of Huntington's, Cary Spence, commented, “It is simply outstanding to receive our second national award. This award reflects Huntington's commitment to excellence, regarding the variety of wines and our service presentation. To receive this type of recognition for our wine and culinary program is just phenomenal, I am proud of the staff and management of Huntington's.”
