Mr. Wright has formed numerous real estate partnerships throughout the United States and has owned and/or managed over 115 hotels in 22 states and DC, as well as apartments, offices, condominiums and residential. He has spoken at national and regional hospitality conferences and has been a visiting lecturer at the university level, including Harvard Business School, Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and other universities. Mr. Wright has served as President of various real estate organizations on both a local and state level. |

Charles G. Swan

Joined Wright Investment Properties, Inc. in 1995 with a very successful career in the hospitality industry. His earlier career included the position of General Manager over several hotels for Aircoa and Flautt & Mann. He also held the position of Regional Vice President for Lane Hospitality with over 35 hotels and Vice President of Development for Beck/Summit Hotels with over 100 hotels in their portfolio. Mr. Swan has supervised all brands and types of hotels. Hotels under his supervision have been recognized not only for superior performance but also for quality and guest service related awards. Mr. Swan received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York and holds the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation. Mr. Swan stays abreast of the latest educational developments in the hospitality industry by attending courses at Cornell University and serves on advisory committees of several franchise companies including Marriott and IHG. |

Brandon T. Birkhead

bbirkhead@wrightinvestments.com Has been with Wright Investment Properties since 1988. Mr. Birkhead has worked extensively in all aspects of hotel operations. After serving as General Manager of several hotels, he was promoted to Regional Vice President of Operations in 1994. In his current role as Vice President of Development, he aggressively pursues unique opportunities to acquire new properties and to secure 3rd party management contracts. He utilizes strategic vision and direction in analyzing project feasibility, evaluating budget and cash flow projections and probing all needed franchise and government requirements. Mr. Birkhead graduated from Oklahoma State University's School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration, where he was named outstanding alumnae of 1994 for his high level of achievements in the hospitality industry. |

Mark A. Coltharp

Has been in the hospitality industry since 1976 and in his present position for Wright Investment Properties since 1990.
His primary responsibility is to be a resource to on site property management for expertise in operations and to evaluate and direct each management team's performance.
Mr. Coltharp was employed by Peabody Hotel Group as a General Manager with experience with Hilton and Holiday Inns before he began his career with Wright Investment Properties as the General Manager of a Sheraton. Mr. Coltharp attended the University of Memphis and holds the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation. |

Has been in the hospitality industry over 30 years and previously managed a number of hotels including Hilton, Radisson and Holiday Inn. Mr. Tigges is responsible for insuring positive growth in property revenue, service and financial results while enhancing ownership assets.
Mr. Tigges's previous experience with Winegardner & Hammons and Lane Hospitality encompasses all areas of hotel operations. He graduated with a B.S. in Hotel Restaurant Institutional Management from Southwest State University. He additionally has a Chefs' Certification and is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA). |

Joined Wright Investment Properties in 1994 after an extensive career with Holiday Inns, Inc., where he held the position of Regional Controller of the Western Region of the United States. His prior experience also includes Controller for Great Western Casinos and numerous accounting and audit positions for Holiday Inns, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.B.A. degree from Lambuth College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. |

Mark J. O'Neal CHME, CMP
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
A 24 year veteran of the Hospitality Industry Mr. O'Neal has worked with companies including Starwood, Marriott, Rim Hospitality, Hilton, Promus and Disney as well as several Independent properties. His positions have included Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Area Director of Sales and Marketing, General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing. With an extensive background in acquisitions, brand conversions, renovations and grand openings of both full service upscale properties and select service properties Mr. O'Neal has a strong track record of proven results in maximizing Sales and Revenue Management performance. He attended California State University Long Beach where he graduated with Certification in Meeting Planning and also attended Rapport Leadership International where he attained Master Graduate in Leadership Studies. He holds certifications as Certified Hospitality Sales Executive (CHSE) and Certified Hospitality Marketing Executive (CHME) from Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. |

Tracy Uphold
Regional Director of Sales and Marketing

Joined Wright Investment Properties in April 1996 and brings 20 years of sales, marketing and revenue management experience with both branded and boutique hotels. Her strengths include the ability to assess and manage geographic regions with various market conditions and an ability to deliver positive revenue and market share results. Ms. Uphold has direct responsibility for the sales and marketing of both full-service and select-service hotels in her portfolio. She supports the hotels in strategic planning, revenue management, brand maximization, recruiting and ongoing property sales training. A proactive, results-driven professional, Ms. Uphold served as Director of Sales for several full-service hotels in highly-competitive markets prior to joining Wright Investment Properties. A graduate of Mercyhurst College, Ms. Uphold earned a B.A. in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management in 1989, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Uphold has been involved with numerous associations, including NBTA and NTA, currently serving on the board of the local business travel association chapter. |

Jason Goins

Has been with Wright Investment Properties since 1998. Mr. Goins has been in the construction industry for 22 years and has been responsible for the construction of various types of projects including single and multi family, land development, office, commercial, hotel, and various restaurants. After serving as Project Manager for 7 years, he was promoted to Vice President of Construction. He coordinates renovation and ground up construction projects from inception to punch out. His efforts include direction of key aspects of the construction process including acquisition, cost studies, construction methods, architectural drawings, permitting issues, franchise standards coordination, job progress tracking, budget tracking and job closeout. Mr. Goins graduated from Crichton College where he earned a B.S. He currently holds a General Contractors license in Tennessee and Mississippi and is a Certified Firestopping Specialist. |

Kathy B. Irvin

Joined Wright Investment Properties, Inc. in 1986 as Office Manager and Assistant to Mr. Wright. Ms. Irvin later became Human Resources Manager / Risk Manager handling employment and insurance matters for all hotels and the corporate office. She began in the hospitality industry with Holiday Inns Corporate office in Memphis. Ms. Irvin attended the University of Memphis and has an Associates Degree in Accounting. |

Dorothy M. Bryant

Prior to her employment with Wright Investment Properties, Ms. Bryant acquired over 20 years of experience in various accounting positions including CPA firms and a public utility. Ms. Bryant manages the staff of Corporate Accounting personnel in the day to day operations of the department which includes Accounts Payable, Payroll and financial statement preparation for all hotel entities. She attended Pittsburg State University and the University of Memphis. |
